Afterburner - SEGA Master System

First things first. The reason I chose this game is because it is the very first ROM I ever played for use with MEKA. I can remember playing this game when I was very young and used to have many arguments with my friend over who's going first. The aim of the game is that your in a fighter jet and trying to kill everything in your path. Also having played this game over long periods of time I have found out many tips on how to improve your game.

The game is simple enough. All you have to do is kill everything you come across. Levels are quite simple to beat until more, bigger, better planes come to attack you. Then the fight really gets tough.

Now you may be thinking "well what's so good about this? It's only another one of them jet fighter games" WRONG! It is more than that. I mean Like, How many other games can you find out there that are Quick to learn, Easy and playable on just about any machine. Throughout the game many tricks can be achieved like the roll. This is when you turn the plane into a spin which avoids being hit by any bypassing bombs.

You better watch out for them bombs that the other fighter jets fire as they appear to come from no-where. If you asked me on my personal point of view then I would rate it very highly. Also this game is playable to anyone, any age (Well Just about anyway).Also what ever you do. DON'T get shot down or else it's GAME OVER.

Graphics	8/10	Quite good. But a little scrappy in some parts of the game.
Sound	6/10	Sound quality is poor. But the actual sound track is very cool. I think you will like it greatly.

Quick Tips: The best way to avoid being hit is by doing a spin over like i showed you earlier. Also I think that if you have no common sense at all then just move the game pad around randomly and keep firing and you'll find it very hard to get hit.
